I truly believe what makes this recipe great is the freshness of it.  So if you're going to make it don't use powdered garlic, etc.  The real stuff is the charm to this dish!

Box of whole wheat pasta cooked al dente- I use rotini or penne
1/2 pound of organic ground beef, browned
Multiple colored baby bell peppers large chopped
Half a white onion chopped
1 head of garlic chopped
1 pack of Truvia or Somersweet
1 jar of Classico tomato and basil or a legal mushroom/tomato sauce (I like Prego fresh mushroom with this but it has sugar in it)
Fresh mozzarella- a good pile of nickle sized pieces
A little fresh basil if you have it
dash of sea salt

Mix all above ingredients in a casserole dish.  Shave fresh parmesan on the top and loosely cover.  At this point it can be refrigerated and saved for a day.  If sticking right in the oven cook at 350 degrees for thirtyish minutes.  If refrigerated it will be more like forty-five.  Satisfying and delicious!
